Return & Refund Policy

Final Sale Items: Seeds & Living Materials

All seed products are final sale.
This includes individual seed packets, seed collections, seed mixes, and any products containing seeds.

Due to the biological nature of seeds and the risk of contamination or tampering once products leave our control, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on any seed products, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect ordering by the customer

  • Planting error or failure to germinate

  • Delayed planting or storage issues after delivery

This policy exists to protect ecological integrity, seed quality, and the trust of our customers and partner growers.

That said, if we make a mistake, we will make it right.

If you receive the wrong item, missing items, or an incorrect quantity due to an error on our end, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos if applicable. We will work with you promptly to resolve the issue through replacement, store credit, or another appropriate solution.

We strongly encourage customers to review product descriptions carefully and to reach out before purchasing if they have questions about species, regional suitability, or planting requirements.


Non-Seed Items (Beadwork, Slingshots, and Other Goods)

Non-seed items may be eligible for return on a case-by-case basis, subject to the conditions below.

Eligible items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition

  • Be returned in original packaging

  • Have a return request submitted within 14 days of delivery

To request a return, please contact us at bogs@goodnativeplants.ca with your order number and reason for return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error and/or we state otherwise in an email.

Once the item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, excluding original shipping fees.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to correct the issue as quickly and fairly as possible.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If a non-seed item qualifies for return, you may place a new order after your return is approved.
